I have 9 parakeets and 2 common grackles. My parakeets are Ophelia, a white and candy blue female , Neppy, a royal blue female, Stormy, a dark greyish blue male, Sponge, a pure yellow female (none of the black markings on her head or wings), Lemmy (Lemonade), Ophelia and Charly's 2nd son, but Charly was stepped on a few years ago, is mostly bright yellow, but he has the black markings and some candy blue spots like his mom, Skye, Ophelia and Charly's 1st son, looks like his mom, but his black markings are darker, Emmy (Emerald), Ophelia and Charly's 3rd son. He's green with a yellow face like his dad, but Charly had yellow under the black on his wings while Emmy has green. Then we have Vanilla, a vanilla yellow and candy blue female, and JJ, Neppy and Skye's first son. He has a candy blue body with a vanilla yellow face and on his wings. Sponge is the only one of them who isn't tame, because she was abused at her former home. We adopted her. All the others are tame and love being talked to, perching on our hands, and kisses.
Our parakeets that have passed on are the first Ophelia, a baby blue female, Charly, a green male with a yellow face and yellow on his wings, Athena, a mostly yellow female with green spots, and Spice, JJ's little brother who flew out not too long ago. He was vanilla yellow with candy blue spots.
Our 2 grackles are Puffy and Fluffy. Fluffy is a male, so his body is black and his head and wings glisten green, blue, and purple. Puffy is female. Her body is more brownish, she's a bit smaller, and her head and wings don't glisten as much as Fluffy's. We rescued both of them. Fluffy was dehydrated in the bottom of a nest in our bush, and Puffy had fallen out of his nest at about 5 days old. They're both REALLY smart and can obey voice commands. Puffy is pretty tame and will hop on our hands, but Fluffy doesn't like to be handled. We used to have Tufty (2), Fluffy's older brother, but he flew into our ceiling fan when we were cleaning his cage. He was also tame. Finally, before we had those 3, we had another common grackle that I had saved from a cat and named Tufty. He was EXTREMELY tame. He would sit on my mom's shoulder while she did dishes and fly down from the cabinets when we called his name. We were even able to go outside with him on our shoulder and he wouldn't fly away! Sadly, my little sister chased him out during migration time, so we weren't able to recapture him like we had the other times he flew out.

Duke (although DNA proved him to really be a girl)- Blue Fronted Amazon. She is 13 1/2 months old. She is still scared to step onto anyone, although she will put one foot on you, she just won't take that last step. She is the most uncoordinated bird I have ever met. She is very smart and talks and mimics alot. Her persoanlity more than makes up for not being able to handle her yet. She has made great progress since we have had her. She loves sweet potatoes and sweet peas.
Maddi (green) and Jake (yellow, white, and teal blue) - Parakeets- they are about 2 years old. They love to shred their toys. They love fresh broccoli, carrots, and cauliflower.
Harley- Blue Mountain Lorikeet- 6 months old. Her coloring is absolutely beautiful. She is mostly green on her back and tail feathers, her head is blue, and the top part of her chest is red/orange/ yellow, and the lower half is blue. On either side of her neck are yellow streaks. She plays on her back and is very sweet. She is good with kids and will step up to almost anyone. She is very bonded to her mommy.

Sun Conure - Bobby Baby. He's loud and has all kinds of beautiful colors to his feathers. He's orange, green, blue and yellow, and he knows when I'm coming home from school and work. He's a better watch dog then my other three dogs. He's the boss of the house and hangs out with my cats too.
I also have a Lesser Sulphur Crested Cockatoo, and her name is Betty Boop. She's extremely shy, but towards me she loves to give me hugs. She will also run across the cage and try to give me a kiss whenever I'm cleaning their cages. Oh yea, I almost forgot to mention there roomies. They both share the same cage and they're the best of friends. They May disagree at times when Betty tries to boot Bobby off of the cage, but its the cutest thing when you see my Sun Conure chillin under my Cockatoo's wing. Its the cutest thing.

I had a parakeet named max. My dad used to sing "i'm popeye the sailor man" and max would tweet tweet at the end. Like he was the pipe. It was very cute. Unfortunately Max died when I was 13.
