My Windows Vista has a blank screen when i turn it on?
There is no start bar, no icons, no wallpaper, jus my documents is open that it. I can use the computer normally if i do ctrl - alt - del then I open task manager and run "explorer" from there. So i how can I get my computer to start normally or how can I get "explorer to run automatically.
the system restore doesnt work either

Hold down the power off button on the tower of your PC and then re-boot, it should start asking you how you want to boot 'start windows normally' 'start in safe mode' (If you don't get it the first time try again and again, you'll get there).
Start the Computer In Safe Mode this starts it with the bare bones of your system, so if anything is corrupt this sometimes allows you to temporally boot..
Once booted if you can see the desktop it will be in a low resolution, ignore this and just do a System Restore.
