Which do you prefer, lap times or miles per hour?

I'm listening to the radio and they're giving the top 5 practice speeds in mph. As far as I'm concerned this is almost meaningless. I much prefer lap times.

Lap times. I suppose it is all what you are used to. But, lap times are better to me. I can visualize what is going on better (drop off, distance back) with lap times. And, it helps me calculate how long the race should run (with out cautions that is!)

    Average lap speed.

I think lap times are more important. It tells you more about how well you are doing in the race as opposed to how well your car is running.

MPH is down with the new car.

They don't discuss MPH as much now because you are watching slower cars.

    Watch IRL. Better
