anyone know whats small in wyoming to shoot at?
Moving to wyoming, wondering if they have the normal pests like groundhogs/woodchucks and things like rabbits.
can anyone tell me whats the animals out there are like in general? also is there anywhere in wyoming that i can just go and shoot for free?

I'm from buffalo...there's elk, moose, deer, coyotes, prairie dogs, rabbits, buffalo, mountain lion, mountain goat, bighorn sheep, lynx, bobcat, badgers, woodchucks, black bear & grizzly (grizzly only on the western half though)....the only real pests are the prairie dogs I think though...for shooting i dont know...Im apart of a club so I shoot at the range whenever I want...

Prairie dogs should fit your need. BLM land is on the internet, free hunting. I know people from Missouri go up there but not sure exactly where but it is on BLM land.
