as most of times, there r many people with same names,the search returns all those email accounts.u will have to shortlist ur friend on the basis of the location and/or other parameters that appear with email address.thereafter, shooting out emails to the last few,get u ur friend.

It depends on what kind of information you are looking for. You can pay to have a basic background search, which givevs you known addresses and phone numbers; www.Intelius.com is a good site or try www.peoplerecords.com.

You can also try www.411.com, or even doing a Google search on them.

But I found a long, lost friend by doing a basic background report (I didn't do the criminal check or anything-- I just needed her number or address), and that worked for me.

If the above sites are too expensive for you, just do an internet search on "people search" or "background check." A basic one should cost about $10.
