    Why should we be suspicious?

I can understand that we shouldn't rely on them too much because we'd be short changing our own skills and intelligence, but the only reason i could imagine someone being suspicious of technology (besides other men using it) is the paranoid fear that computers will soon become sentinent?

They liberate human intelligence and creativity to artwork on a much better airplane. socialising with computers is sad ... although on second thoughts it means people get to encounter types of people who might have useful things to say or listen to they might never ordinarily meet due to location/race/attractiveness/affluency
