Where can I find the history of road names in Plymouth, UK?

I want to try and find out why some roads are called what they are, mainly in Plymouth, Devon, UK. Does anybody know of a website where I can do this?

    Your local library would probably have more info. Or they would know maybe where to get the history.

    Don't know about a website, but the Local Studies Library near Drake Circus in Plymouth has a lot of information.
