On a 2000 Ford Explorer, our little water tank keeps going dry. No visible leaks in the system that I can see.

I don't see any water leaks anywhere. Yet, when I notice the little overflow tank is empty, I check the radiator at the same time. It's low, quite low, also. I keep filling it up and putting water to the cold mark on the tank. Within a few days of driving, same thing again. Driving me crazy....any answers?

If the radiator cap does not hold the pressure it was designed for it will allow the coolant to evaporate, caps dont cost much I would try that before looking at the more expensive repairs
