Patriotic Act ... do you think it is unpatriotic??

I personally feel American's have far more to fear from their own government destoying their way of life than from any foreign power destroying our way of life. Is it simply fear that drives the support of this law... I think so. Fear hammered home for years by the fuhrer.. I mean president. If the 2nd, 4th and 5th Amendments to the constitution can be infringed all under one President....all in one act...signed off on by a Congress in his pocket.... and the newly conservative Supreme Court fails to strike down cowardly laws like the (un)Patriot(ic) Act....at this rate by the time we get to the 50th President of the United States there won't be any Amendments left that hold any water. What say you?

This "act" was a traitorous one by our own government. The enemy you have to worry about isn't the one who bears his flag and tries to march his way in, it's the one who bears your flag makes his way in and destroys you.

No, the Patriot Act is way less harmful to "we the people" and the constitution than the war on drugs, and the police state we have created over the years.

I say this idiotically titled "act" will either be significantly improved or no longer be law by the time our 50th President takes the oath.

The Patriot Act has one good clause with calls for increased communication within the intelligence community. Everything else is blatantly unconstitutional.
