Themes for ICT?

I run a computer club and I am having difficulty trying to plan what to do. My age group is 12-14 yrs

I did a questionnaire to start with to see what they want to know more about and then did power points on that and let them do some activities.

Some I suggest are:

Shortcuts for the PC (all the shortcuts I know about XP and vista) they thought that was really cool opening 100 Windows explorer windows with "Windows + E".

Inside the PC- this didn't go so well (learning wise), they simply couldn't grasp it. But they loved looking at it seeing all the complicated stuff and letting them help unscrew stuff.

The Internet

Tell them that the Internet is bunch of servers, they know how to make websites so I thought why not let them host one (Windows IIS within XP Pro virtual machine)

Virtual PC

I let them copy it to their computers and they think its really cool

Next I am gonna make them connect all their virtual PCs together in a network and try share files, I am guessing its a bit much but what else am I gonna do?
