Mine certainly did! (University of Derby).
As with 'no one's answer (below) it was euphemistically referred to as reading week - not that anyone did much reading! Letting your hair down or earning a few quid seemed more important.

Not halfterms, but some get reading weeks which is a week off to catch up on the load of reading and coursework students get. It falls in different times of the year compared to school holidays.

depends what course your doing ... diff unis diff policies.. diff courses different annual leaves are allowed... ask the unis man... dont be lazy....
