I think your tattoo is lovely, I got one on the back of my neck afew months ago, I did not find it that sore, but it was smaller than the one you are planning to get so you might find it more painful. Usually the area being tattooed goes slightly numb after a while anyway, so I think you will be fine.

    Good luck!!!

The back of your neck is far less sensitive to the pain of a tattoo gun than say the inside of your arm or thigh. Don't get me wrong - it will hurt (kind of a cross between a burning sensation and a cut) - but its bearable pain. The first run will be the worst -after that you'll be fine. Also the shading will be easier than the outline.

Nice tat by the way - will look hella cute on you.

don't use any cleaning soap in any respect. this can be a normal false impression. cleaning soap dries out your dermis and produces thicker scabs which yield deficient outcome. I have a again of the neck tattoo, and on account that it's form of rough to look for your self what's occurring with out a replicate, I simply wore my hair up for a couple of days till it built a scab. don't use compresses on a scab; this without problems prolongs therapy occasions and would possibly elevate ink. unique folks's dermis will heal in a different way- a few would possibly emerge as with a thick scab at the same time doing the whole lot proper, and others gained't. I continuously emerge as with a hefty crust in spite of vigilant care, and all my 6 tattoos seem simply first-class. i've beard that bacitracin is hazardous to tattoo well being- take a look at natural and organic, virgin coconut oil; it's anti inflammatroy, anti fungal and anti viral houses support chase away contamination at the same time offering best moisture concurrently. those are all ways that I have discovered to paintings so much beneficially; even my oldest tattoo may be very darkish with crisp traces.

  • I have one on the back of my next, and it wasn't really all the painful. It goes numb after a while.

And I love that tattoos, I'm getting a maple leaf tattooed on me in memory of my grandmother, who was Canadian, who passed away last year.

to some it feels like a cut being scraped by a needle,

especially when it comes to the shading and on this one that you want to get does include shading.

but it doesnt hurt bad, just keep your mind on something else<3\

    goodluck

i have quite a sizeable tattoo that starts at the nape of my neck and goes down onto my shoulders

i have many others, arms etc and found the neck to be easy, your skin stretches naturally there as you tip your head forward to have it done, i didnt find it sore or uncomfortable unlike some others that were kinda sore

well something that would make people do a double take. Almost all tattoos sting or hurt when first applied the thing is to not rub alchohol to much.

  • I have a tattoo on the back of my neck. It didn't hurt.

My brother says that tattoos on the back area hurt more than the arm.

I drank a little bit before my ink. :)
