i need advice on finding a dentist?
so the last time i went to a dentist was awhile ago...i'm not putting specific details becaue it's been THAT long but the last time was on my parents insurance. once out of college, and out of insurance, i simply didn't concern myself with it. well, being older and finally firmly insconsed in some pretty good insurance, i'm in desperate need of a dentist but i'm not sure how to go about it. i don't want to pick a random name out of the phone book. i feel like i should go to someplace that is well recommeded, but can i simply just go in (with an appointment of course)...i'm just unsure and i need someone who's been in this situation or a similar situation to lend some guidance. thanks so much!

Ask several people you work with, because they have the
same insurance as you do.
That is important, because, once you pick a doctor.
That doctor is then your doctor,. You picked him by "choice."
And now you are stuck.
When an insurance company says you can choose your own
doctor. That is exactly, what they mean. So check around.
and get them "pearly's white." <}:-})

First off, don't do what i did and go to one where they worked very effortlessly, 2nd find one close and call about an appointment. If there aren't any close by look online for some places near that area

check your insurance company's website, they usually have a search where you can find local dentists that take your insurance . Most dentists will let you come in and schedule right away.
