Does it still mean as much....?
KG, Ray Allen, and Paul Pierce all just won their first NBA Championship. My question is, does it really cement their legacy? All of them were knocked a various times in their careers for not being able to elevate their respective teams to the next level, but by bringing three #1 guys together to win the championship, does it really make them any different than say, Kobe? Everyones talking about how he couldn't do it without Shaq... Well, these guys needed each other to get it done. What do you think.
Note: Not taking anything away from the accomplishment, I was actually pulling for the Celts, I just wonder if it really answers the questions about these players?

you have to understand Kobe it Label the greatest player in the world (not) but it proves he nothing without Shaq in big games

To say that it doesn't mean that much is an understatment...Do you really think that Larry Bird could have done it without Kevin McHale and Robert Parish or Michael Jordan could have done it without Scottie Pippen or Horace Grant. There was an old statement that my brother and I use to agree on is that you need at least a three man star-powered group to win a NBA Championship. This trio only falls true to the statement. Good job KG, Ray and Pierce!

The best FIBA players get their asses handed to them by AMERICANS
Somebody needs to hire Van Gundy just to get him off of TV
NONE of the Big 3 needed validation - they just wanted a ring - BADLY
The NBA needs maybe a fourth ref and instant replay

Kevin can defend and rebound as well as ANYONE we've had in years in a big spot
