Bringing outdoor plants inside?

I want to bring inside my spider plant and my wandering jew. How can I do this and make sure that they don't bring in bugs also?

You can spray them with a weak solution of Dawn and water. Won't harm the plant but will kill bugs.

  • I have done the same thing & never had any problems. All I did was spray them with water.

My mom brought her spider plant in and every thing was fine till the next spring. That was when all these tiny little grass hoppers started showing up. They didn't hurt anything, but it was really funny to watch her trying to vacuum up all thise little buggers. Once she figured out which plant they were coming from it really didn't matter. It was time to take them back outside. for the season.

My mom brings her plants in every fall before it gets cold. She sprays them with a bug spray that is safe for the plants before she brings them in.
