The series definitely would have been a lot closer, and I think having a stronger, more aggressive post presence like Bynum, the Lakers would have been able to win in 6 or possibly 7 games.

You guys are nuts! Stop dreaming..... even if they have Bynum, it won't matter! From the start of the season, the Celtics were already favored to win everything. What made you guys think that the outcome would be any different if Bynum played? It may be a close scoring game six....., like probably a 20+ point lead, but the Celtics would still win it. Why? Because from the very start everyone believed that they can and they did!

The Celtics would have done the same thing with Bynum in the lineup. Bynum is not a dominant player in the post as much as the media thinks he is. Most of his offensive game was on offensive boards and putbacks. It would have been hard for Bynum to get any rebounds either because the Celtics had lots of players crashing the boards. So no Bynum wouldn't have helped.

Paul Pierce did not beat the Lakers they contained him for the most part. Yes if Bynum was in the lineups the Lakers win because Celts' Powe and Brown wouldn't have outbreaks. And Lakers would control the boards.

I don't believe the lakers would have gotten up, even if Bynum had been playing. He's still a soft player that can be bullied about in the paint. Perhaps it would have gone to seven games? But i doubt it. Kendrick Perkins would have bullied him into submission. Kid needs some more hardening first.

Bynum adds toughness and will help Pau Gasol fit his own skin. But, he doesn't add much offense. The Lakers are a great offensive team, but they ran into a brick wall against Boston. And, bear in mind, Perkins is still stronger. Bynum will make it closer, but he's defensively useless against a team who gets most of their points using the perimeter and works their offense almost entirely in transition. If Boston makes it back, Lakers get to have a nasty case of Deja Vu.

If you have Bynum, yal will never pull the Gasol trade, which you guys might ended with the best record in the west, and you guys might not even in the finals. Instead, if teams like Houston got Gasol, it's a whole new story, you know. But i still think the C's can win it.

I think the Celtics still would have won because the Lakers don't anybody that can stop Paul Pierce.
