If you have any information regarding Co-dependency...please help!?

I have been diagonosed as a co-dependant and am just about to enter treatment. If you have any information or can tell me about your experiences with this condition I would be so grateful. My husband is an alcoholic and is beginning his recovery at the same time. We both have been alcohol free for one week and I know there are going to be tough times ahead. Are there any web sites that you feel are helpful, and if you have been through this, what did you do that you found to be a comfort and support to you? Thank you all for any advice or information you can provide.

I'll second, "Codependent No More." Go to Borders book store. There are some other books that are pretty good, too. Sorry, never found a decent website.

Congrats to you and your hubby. Yes, it will be difficult, but well worth the journey. Hang in there with AA. If it's not for you, there is another organization, sorry, can't remember the name, that is less religion focused. That you can probably find on the web. Also, seeking out a good therapist to help with the codependence/couples counseling might make the road a little easier.

i've pronounced them to the police and been advised that there's not anything they are able to do due to the fact that av village is a eastern organization. they're not anything however low existence persons who deserve the unhealthy success they WILL get within the close long run. they've spoilt this christmas via their disgusting pursuits. i hate persons like this and i'm wishing them all of the unhealthy success they might potentially get. be afraid you crooks, be very afraid.
