I have been diagonosed as a co-dependant and am just about to enter treatment. If you have any information or can tell me about your experiences with this condition I would be so grateful. My husband is an alcoholic and is beginning his recovery at the same time. We both have been alcohol free for one week and I know there are going to be tough times ahead. Are there any web sites that you feel are helpful, and if you have been through this, what did you do that you found to be a comfort and support to you? I am in need of getting certified as an Interior Decorator and am comtemplating using Penn Foster, an Internet collage, to obtain this certification. The fee seems reasonable and they tell me it would take 6 months and would include a paid professional membership upon completion of the certification exam. Does anyone have any comments or suggestions before I do this. Thank you so much for your input.

I have moved to a new State and had worked for my ex boyfriend as an Interior Designer for the last 10 years. I have been trying to get work in this field and was honest on my resume about my previous employment. Can anyone give me any advice about how to jump start my career in a new place. With my ex giving me a bad reference, I have not had any luck with the local design studios. I'm very good at what I do and have resorted to doing clerical work until I can sort this out..Any ideas will be greatly apprceiated.

We've been married 3 years, and mother is in good health, lives on her own and has a great deal of money. She says she will disinherit me if I don't move to be closer to her in case something happens! This is my second marriage and I really want this to work. I do not want my controlling mother to manipulate me, but I do love her and she makes me feel guilty...I would like some advice and if any others have had this situation to deal with.
