Help in planning an Holiday Office Outing?

I need to plan an office outing in or near Philadelphia, PA for about 55 people. I would like it to be somewhat unique and different from the normal holiday office events. Like a Christmas murder mystery or a interactive theather, or a creatively fun festival. Something more than going to see the nutcracker or having dinner at the country club.

How far are you from Hershey? They have tons of things going on during the holiday season, can you take the group and go there if you're close enough?

What about a dinner cruise? I know it's cold, but there are ones that you're indoors on the boat and you still get the effects of being on the boat and the great scenery.

Have dinner with Santa! That would be fun and funny! I'm not sure how your coworkers would react but it would be cute!

What about going to a spa together? I'm sure your office is very busy that time of year and it's a very stressful time of year for everyone, maybe you can all get pampered together. You can then all do dinner together as a group.

You can do a day of shopping together. This way everyone can get some last minute things done and then do dinner afterwards. It's different than what you've done in the past and you can all have that one day that I'm sure everyone needs to finish up and then enjoy a meal together.

Are there holiday parades or tree lightings?

What about coming into NY and going to see the tree at Rockefeller center? You can make a whole day of it and take the train into Grand Central, go see the tree, go skating if some people wish and then go see the Christmas show at Radio City and dinner and head back to PA. It can all be done in a day. They do have big group rates at Radio City so you should be able to get a good deal and the tree's right there, so you can see the tree, go down to the show, and then grab lunch and head back home! That's something that would be different and exciting!

    I hope these help!
