A man with a gun is a citizen, a man without a gun is a subject.

About 7,1 for hunting Wild Pigs,a couple for home defense, and a few just for fun shooting. Plus a few that are just for display purposes, like a pair of Dueling Pistols. They're nice but I doubt I'll need them soon.Plus I keep a couple around that were given to me,both of which have changed hands so many times in their lives they're effectively untraceable at this point. Never know when you might need a gun you can just "drop and walk away"

I live out in the country with no one around and my wife is here by herself a lot, so yes, we own a gun.

No- but I learned how to use one in the Military.

I am not opposed to gun ownership in principal, but I do believe that local goverments should be able to place restrictions on what type of guns you own and the manner in which you store them.

A responsible person in my humble opinion would ensure that there weapon is in a locked place or has a trigger lock on the mechanism to prevent accidental misuse or theft.

Wish Congress would revisit the Amendment on this and rewrite it into a more coherent form so that we all could put this one to bed. Either restrict or allow total access but something clearly written.

Right now it is a terribly vaque written piece of law.

No i don't, guns make to much noise i use compound bows and crossbows, much better for hunting and defending ones property, a poisoned arrow is just as effective as a bullet.

    Yes.

And as a side note ~ crime rate goes UP if guns are restricted. Crime rates go down if gun laws are loosened.

All it is for is protection. You never know when you may need it.

No. I have periodic bouts of serious depression and have never been overly fond of myself. If I had a gun, I am certain that sooner or later, I'd use it on myself.
