Early Morning waking?
My son is 9 months and has recently started waking up at 4.30am every morning and deciding its time to get up.
He has slept well til 6.30am up until a couple of weeks ago, and then started getting up gradually earlier and earlier.
We have been following gina ford since last october with no problems. He should be up 6.30 - 7, then has his nap 9.30 - 10, and another at 12.30. At this nap though he will only sleep for about 40-50 mins, not for the 2 hours he should be. He is then over tired by about 4, but will not have any further naps, he just gets hysterical if we try. This means that by 6pm he ridiculously tired and so normally ends up in bed for the night by 6.30. We were managing to keep him up til 7.30 before this early morning waking started. I have tried feeding him in his room, giving him a cuddle, controlled crying, and putting him to bed really late. None work. There is no noises or anything at that time in the morning. He has blackout curtains.

Has he been sick recently? My son was the same sleeping 7pm-6.30am then he got sick and his routine went out the window. Its now been 2 weeks and last night he slept through for the first time since getting sick, so hopefully he will go back to the same routine. I tried keeping him up too, but he was the same, hysterical until he was in bed. Hopefully she goes back to her routine for you soon!

It's not uncommon for a baby at that age to "change schedules" as they mature a bit more. It's usually a wait-it-out thing and doesn't generally last too long.
I'm just impressed you had a schedule down to half hour incriments...I'm lucky if I can tell someone "He takes two naps a day" with any accuracy!

Try moveing his fist nap up about a half an hour for a few days same with the second nap if that help then move it another half after that. Good luck.
