Road noise Question for owners of 2007/2008 Honda Civic Sedan?
Hi everyone!
I have a 2003 Honda Civic LXi and I love it very much. I just dont like the horrible road noise when youre driving it on highway or little rough roads.
Even though I have changed the stock tyres with comfort and quiet ones.
My question is, how is the road noise in the latest 2007 / 08 Honda civic sedan? Is the cabin more quieter now, how is the suspension, is it still bumpy or smoother now?
My main concern is the road noise and the bumpy ride, how would you rate the improvement in the new Honda civics?
I am interested in buying the latest Honda civic but since I still have a 2003 model, I was wondering if its worth buying as 2003 sucks in road noise and bumpy ride. (otherwise its an excellent car!!)
Thank you!

road noise has always been an issue with civics. I guess if you want a quiet cabin, honda will probably make you buy an accord. But I hate accords, they are too complex and break somewhat easily. I like the simplicity of a civic.

The new Civics have a lot of road noise. They are smaller than the 03s and you sit closer to the tires and the roads. The ride is a little bumpy, but they are small cars.

Hmmm. Same complaint I had with my 1986 Accord Lxi. It was like riding in an empty barrel. Guess Honda has not got it yet. My 2001 GM is very smooth, solid and quiet however. Why buy another car you are not happy with?
