dang! but we need to strengthen what we got and let go of the under performers. Gasol, Vujacic, Fisher are what helped Kobe greatly to get to the finals. we just need a little bit more deeper play and defense. we'll see how it goes in 2009! Lakers!!!!

Makes little sense for Detroit... Odom's not that big of an improvement over McDyess but carries a much larger contract (which is set to go even higher in '08/'09, the trade machine's using this past year's figures). Portland's gaining a lot without giving up much and LA is getting killed on this deal. Seriously, I only see a positive for Portland.

Hahaha. An obvious Lakers fan here? Great for the Lakers. Good for the Pistons. Bad for the Blazers.

I doubt it. After seeing Lamar Odom's poor performance in the finals why would Joe Dumars pull the trigger on this deal ? Prince can do everything Odom can and he's a better defensive player than Odom.

NO,NO,NO,bad trade, McDyess, Prince, belong to the pistons, not the lakers. They are both great players and every thing but they still don't need to be with the lakers

sounds like a fairly even trade...but then again overall it doesn't help any team out a lot
