dvd burner problem?
I just bought a new Sony DVD+R 20x drive. I have installed it and so far everything works fine I can listin to music through a Cd I can watch a DVD on it but I cant hear anything. Thats the problem I cant hear anything playing from a DVD. Do you know what the problem might be?
Also whenever I try to play a DVD with it using Windows Media player the computer restarts itself
tried downloading a plugin and still restarts when I use windows media

First download the K-lite media codec pack from filehippo.com.
Then download the vlc media player also from filehippo.Then it should work!
BTW,which audio device do you have?

Windows player won't play DVD without a plugin.Go to www.avsmedia.com and get their free DVD player.That should fix all your problems,the audio ones too.
