Israeli Vs Iran War?

Israel would take the initiative, and deal crippling blows to the Iranians. However, it would seal it's fate. Israel is surrounded by "less than freindly" neighbors. You cannot just look at technology or numbers when deciding ability in war. You must look at the political situation. If Israel launched even one nuclear weapon, it would spell it's destruction as all the Middle Eastern States would declare war. Israel won the Six Day War, due mostly to poor coordination and poor military intelligence on the part of it's enemies. That, however, is not to say that their leaders had no skill, but logisticaly, it was a nightmare for their opponents.

Israel will try to draw the David and Goliath reference in a war with, well, all it's neighbors. But David won through strategy, not simply becasue he was an underdog. The "righteous" do not always win, the "evil" do not always lose. Don't believe me? Take a look at the wars in Africa.

The truth is, an attack by Isreal will likely be condemed by the international community, even against Iran. This is because the international community sees the United States army struggling against not an army, but a group of insurgents in Iraq-a much smaller country than Iran. Israel will be destroyed in such a case, as no nation will come to it's aid. With the nuclear age up and running, no sensable nation wants another World War. Iran, if they want nuclear weapons, wants them for the deterrent principal, not for vaporizing Israel-which would spell their destrution as well, as Western nations will feel obligated to counter attack with their own arsenal.

I have read many people supporting, even applauding Nuclear War on this site. They do not understand the Ramifications of such an act.

The news that reaches your ears, is a lie. The way you talk if Iran was weak, so why America can not attack Iran? Not really? Why? If Iran was weak, America's not a chance !!! Iran is building a heavy military zone and is strong, that America was on the other side of the world to fear. You'll see ISIS, near the border with Iran, and Iran in complete security, if there is a war between Iran and Israel. Israel will be destroyed. And Iran will be win . Iran is a very powerful Iranian nation stood alone against the most powerful country like America, Israel and so on. Because Iran is a powerful country, America had to fear and feel threatened. Now the war between Iran and America and America's allies, such as Israel, Turkey, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, India, and Arabic country, and everyone agrees the crimes of America. The result is that it becomes clear, Iran is a powerful country.

Could they obliterate Iran's military? No. The Israeli's do have an impressive air force centred around some 100 F-15s that could obviously do serious damage.The Iranians arn't toothless though. They have a very modern missile defense shield, surface to air defences, and a fair roster of fighters themselves made up of American, Russian/Indian, Chinese, and domestic made aircraft more then a few of which could compete with the Israelis. Without even considering the nuclear possibilities, the Israeli's have the Americans on their side and wont pick a fight with such a major regional power without their backing anyways.

The people that think that Iran is capable of "obliterating" Iran's nuclear facilities are living in a dream world and don't have any facts to back it up.

The truth is, Israel's air force is not capable of penetrating Russian type missile systems without casualties, and only with the help of the U.S's surface to surface missiles located in Turkey would Israel be able to carry out a clean strike.

Israel missed their chance over 2 years ago when they had the chance to attack Iran before the Russians and Chinese sold them high tech gear.

Israel is a nuclear power and if things were to get dirty, Iran would not be anymore. Then again, if any state was to attack Israel, the US would be flying FA18s off its carriers in the Gulf within 24 hours, and heaven help those who are on the receiving end of a 2000 pound bomb.

Saddam wanted to conquer Khoramshahr & parade in Tehran after 3 days of attacking to I.R.Iran, too. But what happened at last? Iran military regained Khoramshahr and Saddam died with the desire of taking possession of just 1 cm^2 of I.R.Iran territory.

Osama Bin Laden in a video released a few weeks ago reminded the world that the ME crisis wouldn't subside until the Palestinian People were made whole again! How far do you think $300bil woulda gone to resolve the situation instead of using it for Imperialist Agression against Iraq???
