Why do people come to the country music section?

because they know this is the most intelligent group that Y/A has!!! (not to mention the most mature)!!!

I feel like traditional emo music isn't anywhere related to country music. When I was in high school, the emo listeners wore all black and had pierced everythings and lots of chains and hot pink/lime green/neon yellow bracelets/earrings/hair bands/etc. Is that not still the same way now? Many country fans stick to their genre and don't venture far out of it, which is fine, but that's probably why they've never heard of emo. Just personal preferences, I suppose. I'm not a big fan of emo music, but I have a general understanding of it (I think, lol). Not sure if that helps much, but a lot of country fans do come from small towns. Doesn't mean they're rednecks, just means they haven't been exposed to all types of music genres. Not sure why the emo question would be in the country section though. That doesn't really make sense. Oh well.

This is a public forum, people do what they want, post where they want - asking gardening questions in the rap section and harrassing people in the pop section. This isn't a problem in just the country music section but in all aspects of Y! answers.

I agree with all previous answers , due to the way some of them write it is done by pure ignrance , they seem to have little education .

However , I do think that some do it purely on purpose , some are level 3 or higher .

I think it is time we started reporting their questions as I think it is the only thing they will understand

I guess they're either trying to get a rise out of people by being rude. Some could have accidentally posted the question in the wrong category.
