What band/artist has done a Beatles song better than The Beatles?

This Q was prompted by a similar question (about who to cover and who not to) and I couldn't think of one, although it seems like there would be. No band/artist has ever been covered nearly as often.

Update:

2) You know, I was only talking about originals, but I've been thinking . . . I can't think of a song they covered that I don't like as my favorite version, so let's add that as Part two, please.

Update 2:

Gimme some part two answers here. They did something like 24 covers from "A Taste Of Honey" to "Act Naturally" to "Money". Surely someone thinks ONE of those originals was better - no? I do - tell you later.

Update 3:

Not meaning to contradict myself, I just happened to think of an original they covered that I like better than their version.

Holly Cole did a version of "I've Just Seen A Face" that is amazing.

Siouxsie and the Banshees did a really good cover of "Dear Prudence"

David Bowie's version of "Across The Universe" was worthwhile.

Pain does a really interesting cover of "Eleanor Rigby"

Joe Cocker/ a little help with my friends and Jeff Beck/ a day in the life, are both very good, but I still like the Beatles versions better.

In truth, no one covers them better but the majority of their songs are so special that everyone likes to play them. I give an honorable mention shout out to Aerosmith's version of "Come Together". They actually rocked it up a bit and brought a little of themselves to the effort. Not a big fan of covers in general, but this one worked pretty well.

    I GOT THE ANSWER

Gerry & the Pacemakers did a " WAY-BETTER " job on the song " HELLO LITTLE GIRL ", than both The Beatles , and The Fourmost.

It can be heard on the cd "Gerry & Pacemakers Definite Collection" on E.M.I.

The Beatles were geniusses, no doubt about it. But Jeff Healey's version of "Yer Blues" is breathtaking. --- Also Bobby McFerrin's version of "Blackbird". That's unique.
