Why do Christians call themselves and their Christians loving and compassionate when they aren't at all?
First off, Christians don't care about their fellow human, all they really cae about is kis@ing God's as@ and doing whatever he wants to make him happy and only hopes those fellow humans will go to Heaven to just so they can make God happy as well, and as for those who do bad, Christians think it's perfectly fine and accpetable and fair to have those people be not only tortured in the afterlife, but tortured for eternity. There's no justice in that, that's sick, I wouldn't even want to think about even a bad person being tortured, I have more compassion than that, yet Christians will just shrug it off. Those in Hell are suffering, they learned their lesson, they're believers now, yet this fairytale Chrsitian God says "Too late" and just abandons them forever, and Christians just shrug it off.
How dare Christians call themselves loving and compassionate when all they care about is making God happy and serving at any cost, even if it's torture for someone else? That's EVIL, not good.
Such a cruel, demanding bloodthirsty uncompassionate God, that just makes me want to throw up. Good thing the bible is not God's word, but rather just written by man. I believe God is much better than that and won't ever threaten you with Hell or send you there.
Your Christian God is an evil God, face it! If he was loving, he wouldn't let anyone burn in Hell. If I were God, I wouldn't!

First of all, God does not send you to hell, you choose to go there. He gives you many chances and free will to believe in Him and choose the path that leads to heaven. In no way is He evil. However, because He loves us enough to let us make our own decisions, evil comes into the picture. Unfortunately, the devil is very powerful and many people think that God is the one doing evil, when in fact it is the devil.
Also, we are not here just to kiss God's ***. It is a mutual loving relationship, not a kiss *** relationship. God does so much for us, and in return, Christians try to do things for Him. Any human relationship is sort of like what a relationship with God should be like. Mutual love and respect. Doing things that make the other person (or God) happy.
I agree that some "Christians" don't really have much love in them and are just there for show. But those aren't real Christians. Real Christians do have love, that's what Jesus and being a Christian is all about! And as for they don't care about eternal torture, have you ever heard of missionaries? Missionaries are Christians that go around the world to tell people about God so that they Won't have to face eternal torture. That is why Christians try to help people realize the truth that God is real and that heaven and hell do exist! The whole point of being a Christian is to love one another and make sure that your neighbor knows about God. It is each Christians' duty to proclaim God's love and keep people from going to hell.
It's just too bad people think the way you do because that is not what Christians are about, at all. I mean of course there are many who claim to be Christians and "shrug off" people that they think are going to hell, but real Christians are here to make sure that doesn't happen.
I am a Christian, and there is no way that I want anyone to go to hell! I do care about people and want to help.
Altogether, I think you need to read the Bible before you start claiming God is evil and doesn't care about us. Yes, the Bible is God's word, and the main message is love!
Well, I will pray for you! I hope that one day you will find the real truth and I will see you in heaven! I do care about people's souls, and don't want anyone to be tortured, and that's one reason why I pray!

I think this is a little unfair. For the most part, Christians are neither better nor worse than anyone else. There are some who are as you describe, but i think most do their best to be good people like non-Christians. Nor do I think most of the Christians I know (or myself for that matter) try to live what we see as moral lives because we fear hell, or out of some desire to toady to the Almighty. The Anglican liturgy speaks of the "compulsion of love", and I think this is what most theists of all kinds would see as the main motivating factor behind the desire to live a moral life - we are "compelled by the love of God." Generally you will find that most Christians -even the most Bible-bashing types - speak about love far more than fear.
Not all Christians believe in hell (at least, not an eternal hell of the kind you describe), but those who do generally take little pleasure in the thought. Indeed, most seem genuinely distressed by the thought of eternal punishment for sinners, but they too emphasise God's mercy and love over his justice.
I personally share your reservations about the idea of eternal damnation, but I don't think that Christians who do hold this doctrine believe God to be a torturer or a psychopath.

You just want someone to lie down for you .. good luck

For the most part most of the Christians I have met are not bad, there are some that shun anyone who is not in there cult..... flock but for the most part they are good people. As for there theology its a faith system and for that you can not knock someone for there beliefs. Now if they are trying to point out facts then its a open game as it is no longer faith and it goes into history which is able to disprove allot of things in the bible. HOWEVER if someone believes something and they have the faith its just that and you can not fault it because if it is you who is trying to bring fact to disprove them you lost your point, you can not disprove a belief. I can believe God is a butterfly or something and you can say no way or what ever, its my belief and you will not be able to change my views. A faith is protected the faith that tries to stand in as fact is shot down with flaws
Anyhow under Christian theology if you ask gods forgiveness before you die "last rights" and you accept Jesus then you are able to go the heaven at least that is my understanding at 4 am

What the heck?! It's not a fairytale Christian God. God is absolutely perfect and infallible, that's why He sent His son Jesus to die for our sins. He can't live in eternity with sinners, (that's everyone) because He's perfect, and He loves us and doesn't want us to live with our sin. There's no way we can erase the sin ourselves, or atone for it, that's why Jesus had to shed His blood on the cross to do it for us. And Christians do not think it's "fine and acceptable" for people to go to Hell, it makes us sad and feel horrible, which is why we tell people about God, so they can be loved and free from their sin. It's not like it's difficult or you have to work hard to not go to Hell- it's easy, all you have to do is admit you're a sinner, ask God's forgiveness, and ask Jesus to come into your heart and accept His love...all you have to do is accept the gift He's offering you. We don't do whatever we want just to make God happy- God doesn't make us do anything, it's free choice. We try to live clean lives because it's healthier and we ourselves are happy when we're living with love in our lives rather than without God. Your perspective is skewed, I'll pray for you.
-- And p.s., the Bible was indeed written by God...yes, it wasn't physicall written with God's hand holding the pen, but with God speaking to man and them hearing Him and writing it down....there's tons of proof in favor of the Bible's infallibility and inspiriation, you just don't want to see it.

sinners and blasphemers like you deserve hell, God is loving but also just
he can't let rapists, murderers and blasphemers into heaven with the righteous, what would be the point in serving him if anyone could get into heaven?

Meh, I agree with you. Go team atheist.
Apparently a roman council decided the divinity of Jesus because they needed to update paganism.
