I'm looking for music analysis?

I need to find on internet a compositive analysis on a piece of music in the XIX century..to analyse it..

It has to focus on compositive resources like opening register, counterpoint, motive, etc...

It's very difficult to find one.. I'm looking for it since last week and all I've found is a shenkerian analysis on a Beethoven's sonata,,

pleace! help!!

thanks..

That's becasue most people do their OWN homework. If you have specific questions while doing YOU analysis, we would be more helpful. And the word *compositive* - I think you mean *compositional*.

If you can find a copy of the old Bonanza Books analyses of orchestral work, in miniature score, you will have a TROVE of things to help you! There were a staple in my undergrad education 40 years ago - like Cliff Notes for analysis!

Maybe one day the internet will have everything but believe it or not it hasn't happened yet :( If you go to almost any library you can get these books. They both have subject indexes and will quickly lead you to the right places for your research

Another resource would be the Norton Scores - they often include analytical points included in the scores, and have the important melodic/motivic lines highlighted.
