Why does this happen?

Ok so when I stand up I black out and get a headache for a couple of seconds. Sometimes it takes a few seconds for this to happen though. And its becoming more frequent.

I don't always have to stand uo quickly either, sometimes it happens just because I stand up.

You need to see your doc.

You could have very low blood pressure.

    You could be dehydrated.

Dehydration can cause low blood pressure.

When you stand up, even if it is slow, if your blood pressure is not strong enough to pump blood to the height of your head and keep the pressure up, you may experience dizziness and fainting.

Fainting is nature's way of ensuring your brain gets blood, because when you faint your head ends up level with the rest of your body and the blood does not require much pressure to reach the brain when you are horizontal.

    I'd check with your doc.

Have your blood pressure checked and let the doctor check your ears.
