i can totally sympathize as i suffer from eczema just like you. i had chicken pox like sores all over from head to toe and had to be hospitalized it was that bad!! it did help though and cleared it up and since then I have to tried to manage it myself as follows:-
i totally avoid wearing perfume as this makes me itch. i ALWAYS wear rubber gloves when washing dishes. avoid using normal shampoos, i use a special one from the chemist called Alphosyl. i put Dermol 600 in the bath and avoid using soaps as they dry the skin. i use Aqueous cream to wash myself. I use Fucibet cream on my face if i feel like im getting a flare up (ask your doctor for this) and Locoid C ointment on my body.
I really hope this helps you as i know how itchy, uncomfortable annoying and upsetting eczema can be!!
good luck!! x

My little boy had eczema on his cheeks. I was not sure what method to use but I didn't want to make my boy go through any surgery treatments at this young age. Some suggested a plastic surgeon since it was in a very visible location but our family doctor recommend this natural guide.

Firstly, start here. This is a great place to learn loads about your eczema and how to deal with it. Second, try and see a different doctor in your practice. You are not tied to a single doctor in Great Britain so make good use of it :) also at night you should try to keep cool so you don't overheat, overheating will just make it worse.
Avoid man-made fabrics and go for some natural cotton or linen for a while and buy some dust-mite covers for your pillows and mattress if you don't already have some (this will help with your asthma) Put any soft toys or cushions off your bed and store away.
Hope this helps, but if it doesn't get yourself referred to a dermatologist or an immunologist, they've done wonders for my family.
Good luck.

Use a good moisturizer at least twice a day over all affected areas. Make sure you put a moisturizer on first, before you apply any topical creams from your doctor.
Humidity is a factor in eczema control. If you live in a dry area, you may need a humidifier in your bedroom. If you live in a very damp state, you might need a de-humidifier. You should keep humidy to about 50%.
Stress, lack of sleep, diet - all affect eczema. Avoid foods that cause it to get worse. Make sure you get plenty of sleep and avoid stress as much as possible.
Buy disposable cotton gloves to wear at night - it helps reduce the damage you do in your sleep.
See an allergist, and have a full panel of skin tests. Get injections against the worst offenders. One of the biggest is house-dust mite allergy. If you have it, you need to buy dust-mite proof covers for the bed and pillows. If you can, avoid bedrooms with carpets - in fact, the fewer carpets in the house the better. Vacuum all floors with a vacuum that has a HEPA filter built in - and make sure the filter is changed regularly.

i have all three to however i found that 'Eumovate' made it worse i have a very strong steriod tape which i put over much eczema at night and leave it till morning , by then it has got much better.
Also when you put the cream on put lots and cover the area with a dressing it will keep the cream off your clothes etc and soaks completly into your skin.
This all worked for me
hope you have good luck .

Eczema may fade in adulthood, but people who have eczema tend to have lifelong problems with skin irritation and related problems.

Things not to do:-
Don't use biological powders
Don't use fabric softeners
Don't use soap or detergents to wash with
Don't use standard shower gels or bath additives
Things to do :-
Try Fairy Snow -the old fashioned powder
Use dryer balls
Use a soap free cleanser to wash hands etc.
Use a moisturising shower gel like Oilatum
Use a moisture bath additive like Aveeno
Use a good moisturiser like Aveeno
Use it very frequently, you can't over-moisturise!
Use antihistamines for itch, a non sedative one like loratidine in the morning and a sedative one such piriton at night.
You may need to use steroids creams/ointments for flare up areas. Use the mildest you can, for the shortest time possible.
Sorry if you knew all of that already :-(

You can also try aloe vera plant good for all . I also have eczema but mainly on my hands as allergy to fragrances, If an option for you going to a dermatologist can help and give you a prescription cream to keep it under control. also helps to know the cause as I found out.
