I recently found out about Planet Green. I am delighted to find that there is an all-green network! My favorite show is probably Wa$ted; it is cool to watch families change their ways and save money. I also like G Word because it gives interesting tidbits on a variety of environmental things. Planet Green is usually the channel on TV whenever it is on.

We love "Wa$ted" because it's so unabashadely do-gooder. The hosts are personable and fun.
We saw the first episode of "Stuff Happens," and we LOVE that. Can't wait for the series to air. Bill Nye is charming, funny and not preachy. I learned a lot I didn't know, but felt like I was given several options to change my behavior without forcing me to do one thing.
We hate "G Word," "Alter Eco" and "Supper Club." Everyone on those shows seems self-absorbed and overly concerned with how they appear, not their message. They try to teach that you can do over-the-top design and luxury, while still being green, but I don't think most of us have room for a 15-person-shower, even if it's a green one. It's just not applicable to 95 percent of the viewing public.
That said, I love the network. I love what they are trying to do.
Some people have been complaining on Planet Green forums that the advertising isn't green enough. It's a sad fact that ads fund networks. If we support the network, more people will learn about green living and support green businesses. Then those businesses can afford to advertise on national networks.

I like Wa$ted. I love to see how some people treat the Earth and then if they are willing to stop being so selfish. I do wish that they would have had more shows taped because the same ones are on all the time.
Life with Ed is great too! His wife cracks me up. It reminds me of my Mom and Step Dad. I even got my Step Dad Ed's book for his birthday.

It has become quite a propaganda mill.
