who is the most over-rated player in the NBA?
For me it would have to be Tony Parker. He flops like crazy. He is only good if he has an excelent team around him. (like the spurs) He sucks without Duncan or Manu.
lol irishstyle love that. Kobe Bryant whines to much but he is a good player. I'm not sayin hes the best but they are comparing him to MICHAEL JORDAN????? MJ avg 30 ppg his entire career. MJ was also hittin 35 points a game when he had pippen and rodman. Kobe with just shaq was only putting up 21-24 points a game...sad
Elizabeth listen to what I am saying. Tony Parker sucks if Manu is not there but Tim is. Tim Duncan is still an INCREDIBLE player even with those 2 out. Manu is even better with Tony Parker out. So yes Tony Parker is over-rated

How can you say that Tony Parker sucks and is over-rated. If anything I believe he is underrated. I mean he's of course not as good as Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili (when healthy) but Duncan is a top-5 player and Ginobili is top-15 (when healthy, which he wasn't during the playoffs). However he and Duncan are really the reason that the Spurs went that far in the playoffs. Ginobili was hurt. Brent Barry was coming back from injury. Offensively most of the rest on the Spurs sucked. They were either too old or some weren't that great in the first place. This flopping excuse is really old. Sure the Spurs flop, BUT SO DOES EVERYONE ELSE.
The most over-rated player I think is Kobe Bryant. (Note: I'm not saying he sucks.) How do so many people say he is clearly the best player right now? I think he's one of the top 5 but not clearly the best.

Kobe Bryant is the most overated player and overpayed teams are called teams for a reason so all players work togetther spurs need the 3star players which are tony ginobili. And Duncan without them and Bowen the spurs would have not went to playoffs this time. Leave tony alone!!! LOL

Probably Andrew Bynum for his unproven hype. Everyone thinks he will get L.A. over the hump. I guess the much better Shaq was supposed to do that to Phoenix and he didn't. Maybe Lamar Odum can't play Small Forward and he gets benched while Vladamir Radmanovic starts and because of Lamar's waste of cap space, L.A. trades him and in the end, Bynum is still a below average Center who cost L.A. the third player in their big three.

I cant believe you said Tony Parker. He is seventh best point guard in the league after Paul, D. Williams, Baron Davis, Nash, Billups, and Kidd. 2 years ago, he was the finals MVP. He is sick nasty.

Carmelo Anthony - weak D but good on offense. Doesn't deserve to be on the Olympic team with his lack of physicality as the PF spot. He's going to give up a lot of points to other players.

no. . . Parker is NOT over rated and i dont think anyone is. . . and Parker is great but not as good when Tim and Manu arent around cuz theyre a team and a team is like a puzzel w/ one piece missing its incoplete!!!

I believe Richard Jefferson and Corey Magette are overrated because they do not stepo for their respective teams when needed most. This probably explains why they are at the bottom of their rankings. They are also inefficient when comparing stats. You should definitely check this NBA superstar efficiency calculating website-
