Are the rates listed on Craig's list for apartments per week or month?
I'm moving from the US to the UK and I've been searching for apartments online. The majority of listings have prices in the low hundreds like 150-400. I undestand the currency conversion but what I'm trying to figure out is if these prices are for one week or one month. In the US we don't rent apartments by the week, it is almost always by the month so when I do the currency conversion I can't tell if it's for a week or a month. If anyone can shed some light on the rental system that would be great. Thanks!
I'm planning to move to London. I have family a little south of London in Dulwich but I've been looking every within a 15 mile radius of London.

Since you didn't identify the city where you are looking can't really help. Suggestion: you can email the advertiser to ask specifics. There should be a link toward the top of the ad. Better safe than sorry. No one in this forum can really answer that accurately

usually it's for a month, unless otherwise stated, but as has been suggested, check first. Don't forget you will need at least a months rent for a security deposit, too.
