  • Why do plastic drink bottles say "no refill"?

I have a bottle if Dasani and I've seen this on other drink bottles. At some point did someone insist on a refill and a bottling plant had to refill it for fear of a lawsuit? I'm sure that's a bit dramatic but I wonder if anyone has the answer.

  • Cell phone discounts for realtors?

I read an article about cell phone discounts for various professions. It only made mention to a couple of specific companies and left the rest pretty vague like teachers, police officers, contractors.

I will be a licensed real estate agent soon and I want to start a new service plan that will include internet, data, etc. I prefer Sprint but will also consider T-mobile. I do not like Verizon or AT&T. I spoke with two people from Sprint yesterday one person said it's probably only with a specific company (like the big three of Real Estate) but she wasn't sure so she transferred me to the person who should have been able to help me and she acted like she had never heard of real estate.

My question is: Does anyone know, first hand, if there are discounts for being a realtor or for belonging to a board like the National Association of Realtors or the Florida Association of Realtors? If so, how much is the discount or does it depend on the type of plan or if you work for a franchise like Century 21 or Keller Williams.

  • Are the rates listed on Craig's list for apartments per week or month?

I'm moving from the US to the UK and I've been searching for apartments online. The majority of listings have prices in the low hundreds like 150-400. I undestand the currency conversion but what I'm trying to figure out is if these prices are for one week or one month. In the US we don't rent apartments by the week, it is almost always by the month so when I do the currency conversion I can't tell if it's for a week or a month. If anyone can shed some light on the rental system that would be great. Thanks!

  • How can I tell if the Nike Shox I bought are for men or women?

I bought a pair of Nike Shox on ebay, they were advertised as a size 11 for mens but when I got them they were narrow and small on my feet. I normally wear a size 11 and the last pair of shox I got were a size 11.5. I compared the size 11 I bought to the size 11.5 and there is a significant difference. Could someone please tell me how to find out if the shoes I received are women's. The information from the tag says US 11 UK 8.5 EUR 43 and CM 28. The tag doesn't specify a gender but I can provide anymore info anyone may need to help answer my question. Thanks!

  • Townhouses, condos or rental homes in Tampa, FL that aren't in New Tampa?

I need to find a condo (not apt-condo conversion), townhouse or rental house in Tampa, but not New Tampa or anything surrounding Tampa, like St. Pete, Brandon, Land O Lakes or Seffner but not in the ghetto or near it. I'm trying to find a 2br/2ba that's under $1000/mo. Am I asking the impossible?

  • Moving to the UK and bringing pets?

This question is for people who currently live in the U.K. particularly England. I'm moving to England in January of next year and I own two red ear sliders (turtles). Is anyone familiar with the laws governing traveling or moving to the UK with domesticated reptiles? I've searched many sites but just about all of them refer to "pets" as being just dogs, cats and ferrets. Thanks.
