What's the definition of a RUB?
I thought i knew but maybe not.Bluff Mike said i was a RUB.I thought being a blue collar worker(i'm a railroad engineer) and riding for almost 40 years would disqualify me,but seeing as he says i am maybe he's right.He seems to know everything!So...what is the definition of a RUB?And if your one what do you do for a living?
I've always done my own work on my bikes especially my Panhead.32 years with it and it's only been touched by me and a few lower end builders.

I love RUBs you can find their 2 year old bikes for sale cheap with less than 1500 miles on them. Plus most have all the chrome you can stand. I say more power to the RUBs. It keeps the Pour Urban Bikers on the road. Plus they kept a lot of Harley dealers open in the lean days.

A true RUB can easily afford the payments and the tons of bling for his new bike. Plus he has no problem buying a new trailer to haul is bike that grueling 250 mile round trip to a rally. And he allways gets a room, never camps.
However....he cant ride for SQUAT!!! These are some of the yokels that drop thier bikes with less than a thousand miles on them and force our insurance rates up!

There is no definition in the Concise Oxford Dictionary that would make a person a rub. Bluff Mike may be saying you rub him the wrong way or in an abrasive manner.

there are rubs that aren't so rich as well.... the type that can't change a tail lamp bulb themselves are rubs
