Does Barrak Obama remind you of Nicolae Carpathia?
They share certain likenesses:
1) Quick rise to power
2) Promising change and hope
3) Followers are religiously devoted
4) His challengers seem unable to use truth against him
I think it is very scary. Does any one else share this opinion?

Not at all. I have read the books and you're mistaken. All politicians promise to promote change in one way or another, and McCain's followers can be just as religiously devoted. As for four, I'm not sure to what you are referring, but plenty of people oppose him, unlike Nicolae in the beginning, if you recall.

I won't demonize anyone but it is odd that you bring that up. Both my husband (not a born again Christian) and I have talked about that too.
Keep in mind that the LB series is Fiction. Makes a great story but it is based on the interpretation the two authors put on scripture. They may be right or they may be wrong. Either way, there is little or nothing that anyone can do about it. God's plan will happen regardless.

Obama has no religious base. And if you simply mean, they are stead-fast supporters, the exact same thing applies to McCain.
