Isn't Wall-E from the new Pixar animated film the same robot as Johnny 5 from Short Circuit?

Um, yes! Anyone who's seen Short Circuit will immediately recognize that Wall-E is a copy. I was so excited thinking there was a remake. Then I research on the Internet only to find out that the creator tries to point out that they're nothing alike. Okay, first of all, I doubt anyone would care that they were similar. Most people would think it was cool. So, I don't understand why the creator feels he needs to be a bold face liar about it. Give credit where credit is due.

Probably inspired by Johnny #5, but it will be hard to match up to the Short Circuit movies.

No, I think Wall E is much better than Johnny 5, maybe if you read this Wall E review you will change your mind about it

Of course they will never admit it. They are the great and mighty DISNEY/PIXAR....originators, never imitators (I am being sarcastic here...lol) Also, they dont want to have to cough up any money to pay for their imitation. But that is exactly what I said when I first saw it, it's a baby Johnny 5...no doubt about it. But I do understand what you are saying, they are playing on people's intelligence. Are we too stupid to pick up the similarities...no Disney we are not.

Wall-E is a mix of E.T ( retractable neck), short Circuits Johnny 5, and binoculars. The robotic automobile ( administration equipment of the deliver) is rather such as HAL in 2001: an area Odyssey. He has a single crimson dot. Eve has the stylish seem of an Apple product like the Mac cordless mouse and the iPod.

No...Wall-E is more kid-friendly and looks much better.
