Jehovah's Witnesses..By their fruits you will know them. Are the fruits being shown on here by JW's good ones?

I am amazed at the unloving , hateful, hurtful, rude comments from many of the Jehovah's Witnesses here. WHen you see one of your members bringing reproach upon Jehovah's name by acting this way ..do you tell them that it is improper for them to act this way?..

Some of the answers just boggle my mind at the pure hateful tone and rudeness to them. . Then there is the one with all of the ID's Heavenly Eyes..

Do any of you see this at all? You do not see that the fruits being shown by the JW's are not good ones..The love for one another is shown only to the ones of their faith it seems..

Update:

It is not ALL JW's..I didn't want to name names..but VOT is the one that has made me want to ask this question. NEver have I been talked to so rudely and hateful by anyone. She has called me a liar for telling my story more than once here. Others too have been quite rude..very rude.

I point to JW's because you guys seem to think that you are the only ones that Have God's favor..and that you guys are the Only ones doing what is pleasing to him. You guys seem to think anyone that is not a JW's is leading a bad immoral life..If ones left the organization..you think it was for some type of offense. When most here left due to finding the truth.

The story you pointed out Hanna was nice. But..that is not applied to this. These were Jesus disciples..defending Christ Himself. I realize that many other religions do the same , not showing proper fruits. But instead of admitting that some one here JW's really are showing rotten fruits. They are defended by JW's. That should make one think

Update 2:

SHerry..i agree with a lot of what you said. This brings me this question..Is VOT a Jehovah's Witness? She doesn't seem to have the kindness that should be displayed by JW's and Christians. Also, is Heavenly Eyes a JW's? I have wondered about this for awhile. Can anyone vouch for these two? They are bringing a bad name to you guys.

Update 3:

Big Guy..Thanks..and I need to let that go.lol. But she did it again yesterday in an answer of mine to JW's. I said that God was not only their God..He loves us all..etc. She below me answered and told all of these people that I was a liar and was never a JW's. This is about the 3rd time she has said this recently. It bothers me a lot.

Update 4:

Annsan_In_Him..Thank you for your input too. You made some very good points..as many here have as well. Thanks.

Most of the JW answers here are not rude or hateful. When Jesus warned, 'By their fruit you will recognise them' (Mat 7:20) he explained the meaning by going on to warn about not doing God's will, but the need to build on His words. Later, he spoke of religious hypocrites who 'shut the kingdom of heaven in men's faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to. Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You travel over land and sea to win a single convert, and when he becomes one, you make him twice as mush a son of hell as you are.' (Mat 23:13-15)

Should we not be far less concerned about immature responses on this site than whether JWs (99.9% of whom don't want to go to heaven) are preaching a gospel that actively hinders others from getting to heaven? Now THAT would be bad fruit. By comparison, the exchanges on here are trivial. It's spiritual fruit that will last to eternity that we need to be looking for, and producing. May God move us to repentance and prayer, that we can learn how to abide in Christ, which is the only way to bear fruit (John 15:1-8).

I find this question very hard to answer. You say she is hostile and will not answer your questions about her religion but is quick to tell you that you are wrong. If she truly wanted her son to know and be a part of her religion she would grow up and do whats best for the child and I think and true Jw would do the same thing. Here is what I know....they do not celebrate any holidays or birthdays at all. Basically since you are not a JW that is about all that is important in your house in regards to the child. Do you plan to take him to the hall and become a JW if not then you really do not have to teach him anything.....that would be his mothers responsibility not yours.

I have only personally known wonderful people from this way of life, but some of the comments I see on here are mean indeed.

On a side note, I am not a religious person, but I want to ask a JW a few questions on a personal level. So if there is one out there who won't rip my head off and is kind, I just want to know a little more about your religion. Email me and i'll send you my questions. Thanks.

I have noticed this also, even some of the e-mails I get from them is very unchristian like. However, I will give it back. I also have very broad shoulders and can take anything they dish out. But, I have heard your story and know what you are talking about and what a cert in person said. What was said was truly uncalled for and very unchristian like. It was very hateful and rude. It's like I have stated before, most JW's for some reason think that all JW's that have left for what ever reason are apostate and therefore free game. They apparently do not know the meaning of apostate. It would be the complete falling away from being a Christian. The ones that I have seen here are not apostate and are very much Christian. Just as the person asking this question is a good Christian...

i try to be nice, and if another is being rude i give a thumbs down, but. just because they answer a JW question doesn't mean they are a JW, I haven't seen any i am to ashamed of. Second this is only a small number of witnesses so please don't judge all JWs on just a few.

As for disfellow shipped persons we still love them and hope they come back. that girl yelling. That was not appropriat. sorry that happened.

Remember we are imperfect also. We have things to deal with. Plus ppl instantly hate us cause we are Jehovah's Witnesses.

You just described 99% of the Christians here.

They don't have to be Jehovah's Witnesses.

(And the Christians can say "Oh, the atheists are mean to us. We're just fighting back." Whether that's true or not is not the issue. If the nonbeleivers are the ones that are "lost" and "without morals", etc.... then it should be the Christians' task (according to them) to treat them with love and tolerance, to help bring those "poor lost souls" back to the light. Instead, the majority of them do exactly the opposite, and often seem to take great joy in announcing that those people are going to burn in hell.

It's just one more proof that Christianity is a vile, dangerous cult. And the "fruits" of these people do more to promote atheism than any atheist could ever dream of.)

Hello. This religion want the whole world to know that they are *God's* people, but where is the love for thy neighbor and the harmony with God. One answerer here is giving a long speech why it is O.K. to be indignant and rude. There is no excuse for such things because when Peter (was it Peter?) cut the ear off of the enemy, Oh Jesus was angry and scolded Peter. And with love for the enemy Jesus touched the ear and made it whole again. Oh no, people all over the world if they truly love God, then they know what is harmony with God *I Am* and with mankind. Peace I bring to you and my peace I give to you, that is what Jesus want from all true follower's of God. *True Follower's* are not coming from one specific religion you know. That is why God reads the heart of all mankind.

Hi Lisa. You know, the more I learn about JW's , the more shocked I am. My friend has been a JW for about 2 years now, and her husband is disfellowshipped. She was telling me how when they go to the Kingdom Hall on Sundays, they have to sit way in the back. She said when new people come up to meet them, her husband HAS to say "I'm disfellowshipped." She said immediately, these people literally turn their backs to him and won't even look at him.

Now, these people 'claim' they follow the Bible so closely. Yet, I never remember Jesus turning his back on someone. I remember him eating with sinners...I remember him showing Judas friendship after he betrayed him....Heck, I remember Jesus asking his Father to forgive the people that were crucifying him, but I don't ever see where he turned his back on somebody.

They are following the ways of God Jesus Christ. They play by their own rules. There are some JWs that are nice, but quite often they are rude.

This has been my experience with JWs on AND off the internet....

Let me share this experience with you! I worked in a home care environment with a girl in her 20's whom I remember as

a little girl at the KH....she was too young to remember me.

She was very friendly, helpful and overall polite. She would even bring movies in for us to watch while the clients slept! Seemed she almost even looked up to me....enjoyed my cooking and asked for advice on caring for the patients.

Somehow she caught wind that I used to be a JW. One day she came in about 2 hours early and wouldn't speak...me being the in-tune person that I am, realized that she must have found out that I left the JWs years back. So... I played her game and didn't speak a word. She hide in a bedroom text-messaging someone for those 2 hours...after she clocked in she laid on the couch texting and did NO work at all. I was cleaning and caring for the patients. After a while of DOING ALL the work...I asked her to give medication to one of the clients....she jumped up and said "your disfellowshipped you are NOT to speak to me!".....I will not go into my reaction (it was a good one!) but the point is:

JWs turn UGLY when it comes to ex-believers...they look at us as dogs returning to vomit! Again, only assuming that they have the truth about God and no one else! The WBTS basically gives them free tickets to hate! How sad! IF they REALLY had the truth....wouldn't they want to help and show love to EVERYONE? Wouldn't they be setting a good example for EVERYONE? Would Jesus have treated me so nasty?.....especially while caring for sick individuals?

........The love for one another is shown only to the ones of their faith it seems........You are sooooo right! This even applies to family members where "blood is thicker than water"...is JUST another "worldly" saying!

    NOTE:

***ONE WOULDN'T THINK THEY WERE BRINGING REPROACH.... IF THEY THOUGHT THEY WERE RIGHT ABOUT WHAT THEY WERE DOING!***
