Have you ever heard of a Fool's Gold sandwich?

Do you think you could eat some of one?

It's an unslice loaf of bread with the center hollowed out, a jar of peanut butter spread inside, then a jar of jelly spread over that, then a pound of bacon placed inside. Then closed the sandwich and slice it.

Sounds gross, but then again it sounds like it might be alright.

It's was Elvis' favorite sandwich...

Update:

Well, he had two faves then. This one was his guilty pleasure and it contains over 13,000 calories.

    Sounds like a Guiness record feat.

    Suppose someone would like to eat like that. Thank You for enlightening me.

    I like to keep gourmet or gorges to Xmas and other festivities; that way a treat stays a treat.

    I've heard of it, but I kind of doubt I want eat over 13,000 calories. I've lost my baby fat and then some, I sure don't want to gain it back!!

    Since Elvis died - Overweight, Looking quite rough and on the pot.

    I like his fried peanut butter, banana and bacon sammich. Damn right I could eat it. I mostly like Cherry and Cisco sammiches though. I'm so damn glad you're back Precious. ♥
