Tips on playing the intro to Dammit by Blink 182?
When I play the intro the notes the sound really choppy. How do I get them to mesh together better? How to I get the strings to stop ringing after I take my finger off of them on an electric guitar? Bascially how do I get it to sound like this....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WUq_gBa_8iQ or this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=994C5lCEJtQ
I just learned the song yesterday so any tips on how to play the song would be great!
I will learn different songs, but I really really want to learn this one. I plan on learning A LOT of songs but I figured that since its really easy that I'd learn to play this one first.

Ugh, learn a different song, every kid who buys a guitar learns this song (myself included...)
But for specific techniques: Mostly it sounds like you just need to move your fingers more quickly and smoothly. As you get more comfortable with the part this will just come naturally. To make the string stop ringing after you take your finger off, what you want to do is mute the string. Do this by placing your finger lightly over the string without pressing down, just touching it to make it stop vibrating.
Hope this helps and learn some different songs!

Start it at a slower speed and work your way back up to the speed of the song.

The easiest way is on the top two strings, in the key of G.
Tons of tabs on the internet. :]
