Election-wise: Is this a very bad year?
On the left we have Obama who most intelligent analysts claim will be a redeux of Jimmy Carter 1976-1980.
(In my opinion, one of the 3 worst Presidents in American history).
On the right, we have John McCain whom most intelligent analysts will be a redeux of George W Bush (2000-2008).
(In my opinion, one of the 5 worst Presidents in American history).
By all accounts we have clones of the 3rd and 5th worst up for election. Is this a REALLY bad year or is it just me?
P.S. Obviously, I'm voting 3rd party this year.

In my own mind there is no question but that this election has the full potential of producing the worst possible president we have ever had and while you maintain that Carter and Bush are among the worst, we have had some real boneheads that would make either seem rather stellar. McCain, no doubt, would make a much better president than Obama, but God help us all if we suffer the misfortune of Obama being elected.

You can't possibly know what kind or how good of a President a candidate will make until he is President. Remember how good everyone thought George Bush would be? Voting 3rd Party is wasting your vote. Most 3rd Party candidates are paid to run as "cutters" anyway.

Is it a clever theory to place self belief in Democrat apathy this election 365 days? given which you're a Republican. After 7.5 years of Bush, they must place self belief in all democrat AND self reliant voters being apathetic to have a huge gamble at prevailing.

It's a wonderful year. I'm fascinated by your election. But then I'm British. I've lost the £20 I bet on Hillary Clinton to be the next President, but I'm still watching her to see what happens next.

go third party!!! Yes, it is a horrible election year! On the republican side, we have that sleaze ball McCain. He is so fake, it is horrible. He will be the next bush, not good for our country. On the democrat side, we have obama-problem there(I AM NOT RACIST) he is black. They're are so many racist people in America, they would rather vote for McCain then a black man. America is screwed royally.

this entire elections is a giant gimmick... the first black... the first women... and the first grandpa? who claims to be in good health despite the 50 surgery's ( i don't no what to say about him)
