IMac help-deleted my mail server trash mailbox and now I can't delete messages to it.?
I right-clicked and deleted my mail server's trash bin, thinking it would just empty the messages. It's still there as a folder, but it won't let me delete new messages to it--I get a message that says "The message could not be moved to the mailbox 'deleted messages-comcast.' The destination mailbox does not allow messages to be moved to it. The account info shows that I have trash from my comcast server being moved to a separate folder (which just means that I have two trash folders). When I uncheck this, I have only one trash folder, which is fine, but the deleted messages are not in the trash folder, unless I drag the message into the folder, rather than just hit "delete." While I don't have world-changing messages coming in, I do accidentally delete messages on occasion.

What do you use to check your mail? It's different for each email application. With Entourage, I think it would work to just make a new folder with the same name.
either way, check the account set up and see how it is set to deal with deleted messages.
To be honest, the easiest thing is to check all your mail with gmail. It's pretty easy to set up and deals well with SPAM and different folders.

in case you moved them to the trash and then emptied the trash folder, regrettably there is not any thank you to get them returned. Did you verify the trash folder to work out in the event that they are in there?
