Kathy Lee called pagans "nasty" on the Today Show....would you be willing to write them about it?
I posted this question earlier....

It got a big enough response that I figured I'd ask if you'ld be willing to do something about it....so would you?

Naw. I pick my battles better than that. Kathy Lee has all the respectability of a worn-out pair of panties. I see no point in trying to teach a pig to fly.
EDITED TO ADD: For those who do want to make their opinion known, to call and complain to the producer of the Today Show, dial (212) 664-4249, press 1, then request to speak with Jim Bell from the person who answers. Or, if you prefer, their email is Today@NBC.com .
I didn't find the information myself. I'm just reposting it from a blog that published it, and Y!A won't let me post the link to the entry itself.

I'm answering this question to mark it so that I can look at the link when I get home. As far as religious respect, Paganism is as deserving of respect as any other religion. If Gifford was as disparaging as the claims say, then she owes the pagan community an apology. I would start with the network. If the network doesn't want to cooperate, then go for the sponsors. Give them the same treatment that Christians gave the network for their failed attempt at what was that TV movie they tried to air? Noah's Ark or something like that.

Poor Kathy Lee, she's always had a big mouth, that's why she lost her job with Regis....she's too opnionated!
I'm sure it's just a matter of time before she's kicked off the Today Show too.
I hate when people make assumptions about others beliefs without actually looking into it themselves or asking the person who practices that particular faith/religion.
Of couse, she thinks she's a comedienne too. ~sigh~

I'll do what I can but I don't think any of us can tell NBC or the Today show what they already know, that Kathy Lee Gifford is going through menopause madness.

Of course I would!
I am a big believer in correcting misconceptions, fighting ignorance with education, and representing my belief system in the most positive possible light.

I have already called the network to complain about her bad attitude. She needs to stop talking about her children and stop judging people. She's a closed minded bigot!

I am surprised that she has not made about 50 apologies yet for saying that. Because she very well could have just lost her job.

I don't know -- you're not going to change a judgmental moron's opinion, but it might at least let the network know you won't buy advertiser's products who support that viewpoint.

If I had strong feelings about it, I would write.
As a single, middle aged, gay, atheist I have my own battles to fight, without taking on those that belong to others (Pagans)
