Live in reality, as the overall costs are lessened

I would choose the happy illusion world. Like, in the Matrix, they could of had a paradise in the computer world (even though they're bodies would be batteries for the robots in reality), but they chose to fight. I find that silly! If I could plug my brain into a computer, and become a vegetable in this world, but in my mind be living the perfect, awsome life, I would gladly do it. If you don't know what's going on in reality, then it's not really reality to you now is it?

I think I would rather live in reality... because when all is said and done you'll have to face reality sometime. So I think it would be more crushing to live an illusion and have to come to the shocking realization of reality and that your were living a lie, than to live in the hardships of reality and understand the harsh reality you live in.

We all choose to preceive things in which ever manner we see fit. The whole idea that "Ignorance is bliss" in some case I might agree...But when it comes to a general philosophy about life I feel that we as people are not experiencing life to its fullest and therefore are missing out on what life is truly about. Without negatives you cannot have positives. Plus if everything were positive we would have no appreciation for it, let alone truly enjoy it. Reality can be good we just need to approach it differently! There is always a reason things happen and there is always a positive side to everything...even though sometimes it is not reveal until later.

People who live a lie are typically miserable on the inside. Look at the many suicides of successful people. They realized that fame and material possession are not everything and that they were living a false life.

Find that which truly matters, live by it, and find happiness in contentment.

I'm a writer and a dreamer and my illusions live on paper. I live in reality but it's much more fun to construct the illusion!

I chose my illusion - with the understanding that I must live in reality as well. The illusion of having my cake and eating it as well.

what you don't know CAN hurt you...but if you know it, it only hurts you more. That's the philosophy I live by.

And so yes, I would choose to live in an illusion, even if it only provides temporary happiness. If it's any happiness at all, I would take it.

    i'd rather live in reality.

like a relationship, if my boyfriend was cheating on me, i'd rather know about it sooner so i could move on from him. but if it went on for a long time without me knowing, all the time with him would have just been a waste.

basically, living an illusion would be a waste. you can't live without reality

to tell you the actuality as a Messianic believer I had fairly see you exchange to Judaism than Christianity. I even have in no way understood how human beings must be that on the factor of the actuality and then pass backwards. Christianity is in keeping with paganism and not the Bible. the sorrowful element is every person is taking you heavily whilst relatively you're a troll.
