my theory on the bears winning division this year?

defense: its still pretty much the same D that led them to the SB they were just hurt last year so they blow away GB,MINN,DET in that aspect.

offense: aslong as grossman doesnt throw 5 picks a game theyll be in good shape to win a game with 17 PPG and the good addition of Matt Forte at RB instead of a drunk running the ball!!!

special teams: 3 words explain why they have the best in the NFL "devin hester period!"

i see the bears going 10-6 including a shocker in week 1 beating the colts!!!!!

I'm a Bears fan, but I don't see the Colts coming out and losing game one. Payton Manning is going to be as professional as ever and the Colt's D is going be solid throughout game one. I can see Rex Grossman struggling throughout the game, as he has done in the past. Devin Hester is great but I can see him running three returns back for touchdowns. (In the same breath, I can never doubt the Hester.) The bears are going to go 8-8 this season and if they stay injury free and their running game comes together and carries their offense they will go 9-7.

i agree their defense will be exciting to watch if Mike Brown stays healthy, Tommie Harris doesn't fight nagging injuries, Urlacher's contract doesn't become an issue and I think the biggest surprise will be Dusty Dvoracek. Dvoracek and Harris up front will become an unbelievable tandem.

Unfortunately their offense will be the biggest ? Not because of the QB, RB, and WR, but the O-line. Will Chris Williams be able to step in?

I agree with a 10-6, but not the week 1 shocker, the colts always start off hot (the peyton manning era).

I am from the chi town. I have been a bears fan my whole life. It will be fun to watch. Especially at the QB position. I think Rex will come up on top at the end of training camp. I think they can but they need to work hard. I also believe that it will all depend on the offense. My theory of an offense is that it al starts at the O Line. So if they can protect Rex and get some good blocks for Forte or whoever will play RB they have a shot. Plus the NFC North sucks so it wont be to hard.

Honestly, It not going to happen, why because They don't have good running games, no good qb and Devin Hester can't help the bear all by himself

So Da bear will be 6-10

Colt will beat Da bear 34-14

    Sorry

  • being a colts fan, I am going to have to say the Bears will not beat the Colts in week one. But I think the Bears will go far IF they start Kyle Orton, when he did play last year, he did a lot better than Rex and I think, with the Packers having a new QB, the Bears will win the division.

i like it i am am bears fan 2 and we think the same way yea mike brown was hurt(AGAIN) vasher was out for like 13 games so a rookie took his place but didint do bad tommie harris was injured and he is pro bowl everyyear if he is healthy also there saftey archuleta cant make a open field tackle

the offnece will be ok but need to run more bc they got like 3 new WR who alrent all taht good and they have the best ST in the leauge with not only hester but robbie gould is good and maynerd is very good to and it isnt all hester every return TD watch the blocking

I could see the bears going 8-8 at the most they need a good quality qb. and the defense is not going to be nearly as good as they were in the SB.
