hard drive data process help?
Name the two processes that must be completed as well as the names of the programs that you will run (including extensions if any) before data can be stored on a hard disk?
Need some good answers guys, need to know more information pls help.

The only thing you need to do is format the hard drive for use - this is usually done by the operating system without need for third party software.
In years gone by, with DOS based systems, you used to have to 'mount' the drive volume once formatted, but this is now integrated with the format process.

You could boot from an old version of MS-DOS from a floppy. Then you'd need "fdisk.exe" to create a valid partition and "format.com" to prepare that partition.
Seriously, you can do it with about 4 or 5 files in total.

1) the data must be converted to the format of the hard disk. ntfs, fat, fat32, and linux formats
2) the data must be fed to a buffer, for prep to be written to the disk
