Trying to connect my Wii to the internet?
I'm having trouble connecting my Wii to the internet. When we turn off the security on the router, it connects perfectly fine. When we turn the security on, it stops working, even after I set-up all the security stuff on the Wii.
The router should work with the Wii. And we use a style of WPA that works with my brother's Wii in Chicago. Any ideas?

You may need to reenter the security code on the wii.Im not quite sure if this is the prob...but it sounds? kind of like what happened to me. My routers security code like reset. I had to rehook the router and get a new secuirty code...(like that 32 digit code) and then enter it on my wii again.

The Wii wireless connector is the least complicated Ive got here across merely plug it right into a usb port on your computing gadget and your waiting to pass in approximately 5 minutes and it value purely 30$. i might say the only draw returned is the Wii should be close to to the computing gadget for it to %up the sign, Ive had no problems in any respect with it and located it plenty much less complicated than using a router and the lan adapter.

1. Do you have mac address filtering? If so, turn it off, or add the Wii's mac address.
2. Are you sure you're putting in the right settings.
Remember, there is WPA (AES), WPA (TKIP), WPA2 (AES),
make you allign everything correctly.
If it isn't working like that, search for a network, and it will assume the security level, use that initial setting whatever it is then add your keypass..

Your security is blocking new users from the Internet. Mess around with the program and somewhere there should be an option to allow the new user (wii) if you can find it e-mail or call your security's costumer service.
