Looking for the value of Winchester Model 1873 sporting rifle.?

Many variations were made of the 1873 Rifle and giving an approximate value of your rifle would be difficult without a visual inspection. According to the serial # you gave your rifle should have been made around 1894. Although I'm not quite sure what the "B" signifies it could be some type of later factory repair or upgrade.

The standard 1873 Rifles are going for around $500-$3000+ depending on condition and originality. I know its a wide range but thats the nature of these highly collectible rifles.

Standard Rifles consisted of:

24" round barrel (although octagon was more common in the early years of manufacture)

44-40,38-40,32-20, and 22 calibers

straight stock with crescent buttplate

Anywhere between $500 and $10,000+ depending on rarity, condition, and other subjective factors such as documented use by a famous outlaw, lawman, etc.

Site unseen mint condition $ 600No if it is a comemorative or special addition maybe $1200 outside. If it is a rae addition maybe $5000 outside. Mind you all of these are mint condition
