Well I believe this is a natural thing. Dogs in the wild bury their food outside so other dogs don't find it. Is there a new animal in the house? They might be competing if there is. If not, I don't think there is anything to worry about.

It's normal for a dog to not eat sometimes. It won't hurt him to skip a meal. Were you standing over him as he ate? He could be scared of you. Next time you feed him, fill the bowl, lay it on the ground and call him over. Then leave him be for 15-20 minutes. After that, put the bowl up. If that doesn't work, try changing the bowl. Then try hand feeding him part of the meal, by getting him to sit near you and putting some food in your hand and offering it to him. If his disposition changes then you need to go back to vet (salivating heavily, misses several meals, etc). Also, if you've been giving him tidbits of other foods (from the table, etc) he could be being picky about his food. I was treating my dog with a little peanut butter and it got to where he'd sit and stare at me while I was in the kitchen because he wanted peanut butter, and then he'd only nibble at his food. It took a day or so to break him of this. Maybe that'll help!

    What's the question?

It may stink to her and she doesn't like it. I would try something else.
